Just saying, it is ironic that the thing that does damage, is pretty much child abuse, and gross as hell gets a pass, but drag queens reading dr. seus to kids is a huge no-no because of x, y, z and Drag Shows, which often hardly if never have kids in it, is seen as this awful thing. Just hit me the wrong way

not really worth trying to apply logic though, the end goal is to not allow trans people to exist so they'll just through whatever hoops they have to in order to get people on their side. Kids are easy for fear mongering

Oh, I know. Like I said just something that hit me. Why not go after the actually thing that cuases problems and all than the thing that doesnt.

I honestly hope there can be bipartisan agreement that putting five-year-olds in heavy makeup and having them parade on stage in their swimsuits is probably not a great idea and quite frankly pedophilic.

I'm all of a sudden reminded about how Ted DiBiase Jr had that "Where are they now" with WWE where he was all happy working on some Christian youth camp...and now he's going to prison for awhile for stealing millions of dollars of welfare funds in one of the poorest states to pay for his new house and vehicles

Yeah, I was mostly talking about regular folks but I do agree that I do think the issue is still kind of bipartisan because yeah, I don’t think D’s are pushing against them either in the south. It’s all money.

I think if you ask any random person on the street about them they'd probably say it's a fucked up thing fwiw, it's just not like a high priority on anyone's mind to stand up for as regular citizens either

If money is the problem, or idea, then LGBTQ+ should be welcomed since Drag shows bring in quite a bit of money and in general LGBTQ+ people love to spend money and help improve stuff. Hell LGBTQ+ events can bring racks of money if being honest.
