So anyone think this maybe a slight dig at Obama with all the questions of his legitimacy to the presidency and if he's truly an american etc.

Dont really either but I havent made a post all month and read this so here it is.

Just see it as a statement of fact. Maybe he thinks that there are some people out there who will doubt that he was born in the US and so he was making it clear that he is American. Don't know why a lot of famous people want to go into politics, would be a frustrating job because nothing gets done due to all the red tape that you have to go through and because there will always be people out there that simply want you to fail.
