Fobes Magazine names The Rock as one of the most powerful celebrities in the world and estimates that The Rock made a staggering $36 million in the past 12 months.

Holy sh*t

I read the full article yesterday. Every agency is after him because he revitalises franchises, IE, Fast Five (no one thought it'd draw like it did, turned out it drew the most) and Journey (highest draw). Rock is a big big movie star now. He has like 5 films coming out between this year and next. Big ones like GI JOE, Snitch etc.

I can see that. He and Vin Diesel were the only reason that I watched Fast Five if I'm honest, same with that crappy football movie he released a few years ago.

He's so charismatic and a great actor, it's hardly surprising that he did so well. I respect him so much for going back to the WWE and performing for us, cause he certainly didn't need to.

Rocky can basically stop all of what he's doing, go home, and do nothing... Cool to see he's still working for all of it.

I would imagine he is one of the most powerful. He can probably bench close to 500 lbs and shit

Rock would have to hope for a quick KO because after a minute or two he would be gassed.

So we can make fun of Xanth's body mass but Jonah Hill is off limits? :bury:

I'm having a hard time coming up with celebrities who would be 'tough' or good at fighting that aren't wrestlers or athletes. Somebody help me out here.
