There are plans of giving the Terminator role to The Rock.

Seeing The Rock be half man and half robot kicking ass is an awesome idea.

Not sure how I feel about this, I'm not a huge fan of The Rock as an actor to be honest but I'm not a fan of any Terminator movies after T2. Maybe a change could improve the movies but I'm not sure about that.

Look, as much as I don’t like Arnold as a politician... His movies are underperforming despite familiarity with the Terminator model played by Arnold... none of the films did a great job of elevating the Terminator brand. [Not after T2, no.] Its time to give the baton to someone else. They don't even need to use the original Terminator model to tell the story. They can literally do anything with Terminator as far as story goes. Like introduce a new Terminator model as "The Rock."

Totally doable.

The next issue is his acting. It's cool, but sometimes his acting doesn't do the story justice. His best acting are in Fast and the Furious series and the GI Joe films. He has pending films in the works, including Hobbs and shaw 2. What he needs to do is look at the source material and try to be better than Arnold at it.
