WWE Champion The Rock is being advertised for the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which takes place on May 19th from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. This is an unexpected move, as The Rock will be taking time off from WWE after WrestleMania 29 to begin filming the movie “Hercules” overseas.

I GUESS THE ROOMER IS TRUE! Does this mean that The Rock will retirn the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 29 and then just lose the WWE Champion it at Extreme Rules? How ever that would me he would not get rematch clase inless that write him off with an injury angle? I REALLY see it having if his WrestleMania 29 match is a 3 Way with CM Punk in it? I wouldn't want him to retain, because Cena losing three Wrestlemanias in a row increases his chances of beating Undertaker at WM30. Don't see what else they would do, unless Rock just gets a rematch (or the triple threat itself becomes a rematch, ala Benoit/HHH/HBK in 2004) at Extreme Rules. But would they really put a one on one Rock/Cena match at ER? Or would Rock even work a hardcore match?
