The rumors are swirling like mad. JBL is gone, Kane is rumored to be retiring around June, Batista, HBK, and Undertaker are also rumored to be in the last year of their careers.A majority of the last remanants of the Attitude Era(except HHH of course who'll probably be around forever if he stays married to Steph :1: ), the last bridge to another generation of WWE may be gone in a year.
Who in your opinion, and you can name as many guys as you like are either most capable, or would you like to see fill these boots? When the time comes who do you believe will do justice to filling the voids these guys will leave when they go?

Edge are my main 3 that will definitely play a key role in filling them gaps. They can all carry the brand single handedly and are all proven top main eventers. And for the record i also think HHH will be around for years. Even if it's not in the ring. He will have his hand in doing something on screen and behind it.

There is also the younger guys coming through. The few i think will still be around a few years down the line other than the 3 that i have mentioned. could be im not saying they will be, But they have the talent to be are
MVP
Morrison
Dibiase and also i think Ziggler has huge poteintal, Also i see Bourne taking over from Rey Rey when he goes as the high flyer. Hell there could be a new guy/Guys that come through and just connect and go on to be the new Hogan,Rock,Austin etc it's hard to so who will fill the voids, But thats who i think maybe could.

First off, none of those guys even had much to do with the attitude era. Taker was there, but he was more part of the current era, as well as the pre attitude era. HBK missed the entire attitude era. JBL was a tag team guy during the last stages of the 'tude era, and Batista wasn't around. The only guy who was a big part of the attitude era that is leaving is Kane. So no need to get too sad.
Anyway, that was just a side note. Back on topic...
You'll obviously still have the main event staff of Edge, Orton, Batista, Triple H, Rey, Punk, Hardy, Cena, which is pretty good.
To fill those holes though, of Batista, HBK and Taker, they basically just need to push 3 guys. The guys aren't going to have the same characters, that'd be lame, but to fill the holes, I think they'll need to push Kennedy straight to the main event upon his return, and Morrison should begin a slow climb to the top, to get there by the time those guys leave. Other than those two, I think it's time for a real impact debut. We're gonna need a guy who just comes out and kicks ass, and begins a rapid rise to the top. One guy, like Lesnar did, who they just push straight away, preferably as a heel, to fill the main event hole.

To KingovKings: The guys you listed (Cena, Edge, Orton) aren't fair to be listed. They've already taken over as the 3 main guys in the company long ago. They won't be filling Taker and HBK's hole, because at this point, they're already above where those two are currently at.

Yeah i know that, I said that them three a proven maineventers. What i was trying to say rather than filling holes, Is that like Taker Kane HBK are still in the ring now. Orton Cena Edge will still be around years from now. Kicking it among the new Genaration off stars that move up. If ya get what i mean =/

BTW, MVP isn't a young guy by any standards. He's older than nearly 80% of the current roster.

How was Taker not part of the attitude era? The long-running feud with Kane, Hell in a Cell, Buried Alive, Inferno match, Ministry of Darkness, crucifying Stone Cold, kidnapping Stephanie. These were all huge parts of the attitude era.

Yeah Mike...Taker was a fucking HUGE part of the attitude era....more so than Kane I think.

I honestly don't forsee and of these guys leaving a huge hole.
Did anyone REALLY miss Batista or his matches while he was gone?

What has Kane done in the last few years to leave any kind of hole? Theres plenty of people to job.

HBK hasn't been anywhere near the title scene for years now. Sure he's had some great feuds over the years, but nothing that most casual audiences will miss.

And the focus is never really on Undertaker unless it's Wrestlemania time...so I really can't see him affecting too much either.
