Tom Thibodeau out as Head Coach for the Knicks. He just took you guys to the ECF and you let him go okay.

Why fire a head coach that coached them to the ECF for the first time in 25 years? That's dumb if you ask me. Instead of just firing them because the Pacers beat them, reward the guy. Unless, there's problems with the players and the head coach in the locker room that caused him to lose his job.

And don't forget that the team had a winning record and made it to the playoffs, all but one season under Thibodeau, since he was hired in 2020.

That was my thought problems with the Coach and the players. Still whether they bring in a younger Coach or a proven one they need to change as a Team next Season. Brunson holding onto the ball the majority of the time and the rest of the guys standing around is not gonna work I feel if they want to make the Finals. Easily one of the things I saw besides the Team making mistakes on defense is Brunson not getting the rest of the guys involved consistently. So when they get the ball coming in hot the stress to make a play not knowing when you'll get the ball again surely was on their minds.

With Thibodeau being 67 years old, it's understandable that they want to bring in a younger coach with a talented team, to continue to guide the team to the right direction. Mike Budenholzer's turning 56 in August, the Knicks may go after him, despite a bad season with his only season with the Suns. Or, they may go after a younger coach that had success as an assisstant coach with a good team. It's all up in the air from here.
