It's that time of year, folks! America's Game is in Spring Training, and teams are trying out their brand new shiny pitchers and players! Discuss the news related to the baseball world, such as the potential Red Sox WS Repeat, the continuing attendance problem, and other musings.

Let the fun of 9 inning pitch-ball begin!

We gonna talk about how the Phillies don't have any kind of opt out on this Harper contract so they're stuck with him until he's like 40 :TI: didn't they learn from the Angels and Pujols?

:pour

I'm almost certain a lot of Phillies fans are having this reaction upon the realization that they're stuck with him long after he starts sucking as a player.

Next 5 years or so they'll be a threat tho, or at least they should be but I'm gonna die laughing if they still suck

I mean you get what you play for and my Phillies gave away a shit ton to get him. Harper not wanting a opt out tells me he likes the direction of the team and even when he's close to that ending of the Contract he still might a good player to have.

Jake Odorizzi had an absolutely awful game yesterday. Take out the 5 runs he gave up and the Twins lose 4-5. If the wind didn't kick it back, Astudillo would have given the Twins the 6-5 win.

Fucking ass.

And boy did that Umpire absolutely blow yesterday. Too many shit calls.

Padres 5-3 in second place of the division, not too bad so far. Machado hit his first homer as a Padre on Wednesday and Tatis Jr is looking really good.

Angels LHP Tyler Skaggs has passed away at the age of 27. Details are unknown at the moment but that is heartbreaking to hear.

It's official.

The Minnesota Twins are the very first MLB team to hit 300 Home Runs in a single season. They have clinched the AL Central and they look poised for a deep playoff run. All they need to do is beat the Yankees... For the love of God, beat the Yankees.

Fucking hell Stephen Strasburg for 245 Million. You didn't want to pay Bryce Harper big dollars, but you give him that. I get it Pitchers are important, but geez that is alot of money. Every good Pitcher on the FA Market should be happy as fuck right now especially Gerrit Cole. I'm happy we got Wheeler a young guy that can be another Ace in the Rotation for my Phils, but Nola and Wheeler aren't getting it done you need a third good Pitcher and a hitter or two.
