Honestly? I don't know if Zach Wilson ever plays for the Jets again. They should put him on IR come Monday. Claim it was his knee, say he has a hangnail, whatever. Honestly once they benched him they never should have put him back this season cause really difficult to fix mechanics in 3 weeks. Start Flacco or even Streveler once Mike F'n White went down. Putting him back in probably killed any chance he could get right and have any chance of eventually winning back the fans.
This team is already better than expected this season. They were expected to win 6 games. They have 7. They got them all early on the back of their excellent defense, dynamic running back (Breece Hall), and an offensive line that was held together by a pro bowl caliber player that had already played 3 positions at a pro bowl level in 2022 (Alijah Vera-Tucker). They lost Hall and Vera-Tucker for the season after the Denver game (where they went 5-2). They have since gone 2-6. That's not a coincidencee.
