Terrible News. Loved him as a Commentator and the guy never got enough credit for sure during his playing days. When healthy he was always making the right play within a Game. People need to watch his Highlights during his Portland Career unstoppable to say the least.

I think if Walton stayed healthy for large portions, he'd likely have been even better than Kareem or Magic Johnson who were his contemporaries at the time.

I will also say, I think a lot of people's perception of Walton has also been colored by Shaq, who has hated Walton for almost 2 decades now and considered him as a lesser NBA player simply because Walton only netted 6200 career points, despite Walton having a rebounding title, a blocking title, 2 All-Defense First Team titles, and the same amount of regular season MVP awards. Shaq never managed to get a defensive first-team title, nor a rebounding or blocking title.

Congrats to Boston but the Pacers should be commended for not having their best player for 2 Games in this Series and still being in the fight. I don't give Boston no respect at all they have had a pretty easy road when you have mutiple All Star level players out for multiple Games in every Series since the Playoffs started. Whether they play the Mavs or Wolves that will be their first test of the Playoffs I feel.

Should be interesting who guards Luka and Kyrie because those two guys are frustrating as hell as the Wolves are finding to how to stop. If the Big Man for Boston comes back that should be a major advantage but I'm praying the Finals goes 7 Games because two Conference Series being this lopsided has been a snore to watch.
