Stetson Bennett over Bryce Young is a complete joke

Alabama would be 7-5 or 6-6 without Bryce Young. Bill O’Brien is an awful playcaller who’s been carried more than any coach since Johnny Manziel carried Kevin Sumlin.

We didn't deserve to get in. This team had the talent but not the coaching or discipline. Please hire some real coordinators, Saban.

That's right. We didn't deserve to get in because of that second loss to LSU, which after that there was no way Bama can jump a one-loss team.

And yes, Bama could use a new defensive coordinator. Pete Golding with the team has struggled to put up a legit defense that Bama once had when Kirby Smart left to become head coach of Georgia and Tosh Lupoi replacing him, which he actually had success in that role.

For Bill O'Brien, I'm not a huge fan of him but he at least deserves one more chance to prove himself that he's a capable offensive coordinator. If he fails in 2023, then he's gone.

As for the discipline, teams in the future really can use the discipline so they can put their main focus on the competition and not have any sort of distractions surrounding them, especially some with NIL deals on their mind.

All those yards someone throws, someone has to catch them, ain’t no one out there Mr Perfecting it and throwing it down field, and running to catch it themselves.

Bennett has a better completion %, he avgs more yards per play than Young. Young has more Touchdowns, but he’s not had many games where he could take the foot off the gas, so he had to keep playing, where Bennett has been able to relax and the team switch to running the ball because they aren’t struggling to beat LSU or Tennessee. Young has 1 less INT than Bennett. Put respect on his name.

But this season, he under-performed with a lack of star receivers around him plus missed a game due to concussion, which disrupt his chances of repeating the trophy. Yes, Bryce still put up fantastic numbers in 2022, but Caleb Williams, CJ Stroud and Max Duggan put up better numbers IMO. For Stetson, he's a helluva leader and he put up great stats as well and has made Georgia, the team to be reckoned with with the CFP ahead of him and the team.

Colorado offered Deion Sanders the coaching position. Why do I feel like that is a massive step down from Jackson State?

Nah, it's a Power 5 conference school. He already has players transferring in to play for him.

Here's the order of conferences based on strength of programs:

1. SEC (as much as I hate it)
2. B One G
3. ACC
4. University of Notre Dame
5. Big 12
6. A 6 week old Ham Sandwich
7. PAC # (unknown what the new name will be after they lose USC/UCLA wonder if they'll change names again)
8. American (and in all honesty I think they could have surpassed PAC #)

I am not at all surprised he's getting Transfer Portal guys. I just was surprised he went to of all the places a low level PAC 12 school like Colorado. He's lucky they got a 12 team playoff as I doubt an undefeated Colorado gets into a 4 team field once they lose the big money LA teams.
