I was too young when these boys were around, were they popular, were they long reigning champs? Or were they as gimmicky as the Bushwackers?

And are only known for being Hogan's best friend?

Well...they aren't too far off from the bushwackers. They did beat the Hart Foundation at WM 7 for the WWF tag belts. So that puts them a little better than the bushwackers. They were similar to the 90's tag teams (natural distasters, Head shrinkers, Money Inc, Quebeckers)

They did win a few tag belts in WCW as well. They've never been a dominant tag team, but a solid unit (20 years ago) And they haven't been around in about 15 years. They are pretty much useless in TNA. Its sad to see them there actually.

They basically had their best days in WCW when they feuded with the likes of Harlem Heat, Legion Of Doom ect. ect. Brian Knobs and Hulk Hogan are workout buddies, which by extension Jerry Saggs gets to tag along for the ride.

They were sloppy, dangerous workers. But they were over as fuck in the 90's. And they still think they are today.

The 1 thing that could possibly help them is the smaller 6 sided ring. I a feud with 3D is coming up there may be enough experience there to pull off a servicable match.

To the point at least the bushwackers would be enjoyable to watch and you know they wouldn't be taking anyones space cuz they're jobbers.

off topic but does anyone think TNA should shoot a reality series segment with his drug trial? Could be interesting and if they're truly going for an adult demographic then they shouldn't care too much about losing younger viewers.

I'm surprised the Nasty Boys are even willing to work in the same company as Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Those two teams have major legit heat.

The nasty boys are scrub wrestlers will barely passable talent who can't work. They only got popular and pushes because they're good at sucking Hogan off.

So are they supposed to be heels? Because last time I checked the Dudleys had just turned heel. You know what fuck it. Why even bother asking since TNA will probably have both teams turn heel and face 3 times before their first match.

I wouldnt say the Nasty Boys were completely out of talent and didnt know how to work...but indeed they are some of the sloppiest wrestlers ive seen.lol.

They knew how to brawl though, and some of their matches were entertaining. Have a look at Maxx Payne & Cactus Jack vs. the Nasty Boys from..Starrcade 93 (i think)
