The former Braun Strowman has reportedly met with an Impact official.
PWInsider reported this afternoon that Adam Scherr (Strowman) met with Impact Wrestling executive vice president Scott D’Amore at the hotel bar for the Motor City Comic Con in Detroit, Michigan on October 16. PWInsider described the two as sitting for a long time, with Scherr arriving to meet a waiting D’Amore.
Additionally, PWInsider reported that Impact has been working on “several surprises” for Impact’s upcoming Bound for Glory event, which takes place at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas on October 23 on pay-per-view.
Strowman was released from WWE on June 2, with the company citing budget cuts as the reason for his release. His first match post-WWE involved him defeating EC3 for a Free The Narrative event that was released on October 1.
Bound For Glory is currently headlined by Christian Cage defending the Impact World Championship against Josh Alexander, who vacated the X-Division title to challenge for the World title.
