Basically the Supreme Court passed a law yesterday morning that says Corporations in America now have the same rights to freedom of speech as normal citizens. Which when you take out all the legal jargon of it all means that Corporations now are no longer restricted to how much money they can contribute to a political campaign.

So in a nutshell, since Corporations can afford to pour billions of dollars into political campaign funding, you take out the need for individual donation or contribution as all elections will be financially decided by the Corporations, and they will be able to implant whoever they want into office on any given election.

So in a step by step process. Let's just use generic examples. Wal-Mart chooses Politician A. Politican A has vastly more financial support from Wal-Mart and thus is able to create ads, marketing and media coverage at a far larger rate and ability than Politician B, who didn't want to play ball. American's are stupid and fickle, so they hear a bunch of good shit about Politician A and his name is ingrained in our psyches, so we vote for Politican A for President. Repeat this process for all congressmen and senate in local arenas. President A now appoints supreme court judges who are also paid off by the Corporations, so now with the support of Congress, The President, and the Supreme Court, Wal-Mart starts to implement legislative changes to the country.

Unions become illegalized, Monopolies are now ok so Wal-Mart can buy out all the competition, Wal-Mart gets permanent tax breaks to where they and other corporations no longer have to pay taxes at all, they fix this deficit by increasing the common mans taxes tenfold. Minimum Wage gets dropped down to less than $3.00 an hour to minimize financial output for workers. Full Time work no longer requires the addition of benefits, and is now increased to 80 hours a week instead of 40. Pensions are no longer necessary, and the retirement age or eligibility for social security gets raised to where you have to be 85 before you can collect. And if you can't work for Wal-Mart under these conditions? You can't feed your family and get left behind.

What are the common people gonna do? Revolution? When the Corporations have all the guns, bullets, and support of the US Military, how far do the people go before they're all slaughtered?

Hence the question, death of US Democracy as we know it? Or is Keith Olbermann and the rest of the Liberal Media freaking out over potentially nothing?

hmm, okay, it's actually a major change for the corporations, but you'll barely notice the results. In one way or another, US politics are already controlled by corporations; this way, they just skip some bureaucratic steps.

Considering American politics weren't very transparent in the first place, you're pretty much on the money. Most of us won't even notice the results unless the changes are as drastic as the examples I listed above.

I'm telling you: ILLUMINATI!

*waits for MS to arrive and raise hell*

On a serious note, this is crazy. It seems like everything that matters most is changing. I mean, TNA's ring, Wal-Mart, monopolies, its crazy. Blasphemy!

yea, that's my point. I honestly doubt they'll make any drastic change anyways, they'll just keep you happy enough not to riot.
Offcourse this is not democracy, but it has never been.

I've been reading alot of Illuminati stuff from http://vigilantcitizen.com but he mostly seems to focus on stupid shit. Like esoteric interpretations of Pinnochio, popular hip hop music videos, Tiger Woods, Lady Gaga & other pointless symbolism in movies that nobody really cares about in terms of practical conspiracy.

THIS news story could be something worth looking into. Not analyzing how the Illuminati put Symbolism into the movie of National Treasure.

The illuminati are supposed to be secretive, the whole point was you aren't supposed to know they're pulling the strings. This is just a plain blatant attempt to create the United Corporate States of America.

Well this Vigilant Citizen guy tries to pull it off as if everything is so blatantly obvious that he doesn't see how everyday American's can't be screaming at the top of their lungs. lol. He just over analyzes everything he sees and writes long diatribes about his paranoia really. It's sometimes pretty interesting (Like his analysis of Jay Z's Run This Town or Lady Gaga in general) but sometimes it's just plain stupid.

Those extras in the Run This Town video look like the guys from RE5 :roflmao:.

Also, the Illuminati's been in control for a minute, there could be shit they run that we don't know about. They are the main stream, they allow us to know what we know. Hence fourth, making us think that this is uncharacteristic of them, and that they ultimately don't exist. When the truth is.....

They're "runnin' this town".

Keith Olbermann needs to shut the fuck up, in general. It's hilarious that he considers himself an intellectual elite, when guys like Paul Krugman and Will Wilkinson could argue circles around him. Every closing segment of his show sounds like a tenth grade essay, trying to throw in as many "profound" statements as possible so that maybe, MAYBE one of them will one day be written down onto a super awesome website full of INFLUENTIAL~ quotes. Fuck him.

More of a democratic nation then ours. We're basically run by a socialist prick who wants nothing more than a seat on the United Nations.

Plus, we're forced to vote. What kind of democratic choice is that?
