In this industry, as sad as it is, it's hard to sympathize with a wrestlers' passing. They know the dangers, they know the industry history, there IS help being offered and yet people choose to die. Addicts are in all walks of life, when a junkie dies in the streets, who cares? Everyone usually thinks;" it's the life they chose". It certainly should be that way for wrestlers. After Benoit my thoughts on the matter changed drastically. A junkie is a junkie.

So my question to yuse guys is Who do you think is gonna bite the big one in 2010? I mean by the wrestler's death: i.e heart problems caused by severe drug abuse. Don't pick old dudes like the Funker or Heenan, they've done right to get to their ages. I'm talkin the Tests and Umagas of the industry.

The first thing that comes to my mind is "How the fuck is Scott Steiner still alive?" He's the industries' hookup and they hollered because they heard him.

Jake Roberts- this fuckin trainwreck should have died ten times by now. He must have everyone's guardian angels on his side.

Some random lucha guy...the drugs are harder in North American Iraq, the schedule just as hectic and absolutely no support system like the E offers ALL former contracted talent. Look at Abismo Negro, that dude's life was a fucking mess before he offed himself.

Rey's got an admitted painkiller addiction and putting off knee surgeries won't help, plus his small frame can't take the damage a big hoss can absorb from substance abuse.

That's who I got right now...who do yall have?

Steiner and Roberts are the first that came to mind. Possibly some of the older Japanese guys, such as a Misawa like could as well. It's such a damn shame that topics like this come up, and you can easily list names.

Rey Mysterio wouldn't surprise me, he's got a lot of things going against him as you said.

Knee injuries, only would kill him if he got addicted to the pain killers.

As much as it sucks to admit it cuase he's been one of my favs since I was a kid, if Jeff hardy doesn't clean his act up he's going to be one of the next majors deaths, no doubt and it sucks cause he wastes so much talent.

He's admitted to being addicted to them.

Jake Roberts is the Motley Crue of the wrestling world. He will just not die until he's like eighty years old.

I dunno if he's too old for the list but I'll throw out Ric Flair's name.

Shoot this is something really shitty to talk about. We've had Test, Umaga, Eddie, Benoit, a lot of younger names there.

Im gonna go with Kennedy as a random.

Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Ric Flair.

It would seriously be so awesome if they all died on the same day or in the same week. It would be called the 'black week' of professional wrestling. o_O

Ohhhh damn never heard that news, that sucks. I mean thats kinda one of those things were wrestling and pain killers go together because after playin for so long you need a way to mask the pain, yet again its the same for any agressive sport, but it is a life style.

Slash & Keith Richards own Motley Crue in all drug and alcoholic related rock references.

Maybe Keith Richards but not Slash. It's hard to imagine anyone beating Nikki Sixx od'ing on heroin and nearly dying, running out of the hospital and going home and od'ing again.
