In this industry, as sad as it is, it's hard to sympathize with a wrestlers' passing. They know the dangers, they know the industry history, there IS help being offered and yet people choose to die. Addicts are in all walks of life, when a junkie dies in the streets, who cares? Everyone usually thinks;" it's the life they chose". It certainly should be that way for wrestlers. After Benoit my thoughts on the matter changed drastically. A junkie is a junkie.
So my question to yuse guys is Who do you think is gonna bite the big one in 2010? I mean by the wrestler's death: i.e heart problems caused by severe drug abuse. Don't pick old dudes like the Funker or Heenan, they've done right to get to their ages. I'm talkin the Tests and Umagas of the industry.
The first thing that comes to my mind is "How the fuck is Scott Steiner still alive?" He's the industries' hookup and they hollered because they heard him.
Jake Roberts- this fuckin trainwreck should have died ten times by now. He must have everyone's guardian angels on his side.
Some random lucha guy...the drugs are harder in North American Iraq, the schedule just as hectic and absolutely no support system like the E offers ALL former contracted talent. Look at Abismo Negro, that dude's life was a fucking mess before he offed himself.
Rey's got an admitted painkiller addiction and putting off knee surgeries won't help, plus his small frame can't take the damage a big hoss can absorb from substance abuse.
That's who I got right now...who do yall have?
