Kayfabe TerraNova ft. Spark World Champion, Vanessa York

[Emo]

*Terra is standing in the center of the ring with 2 white leather chairs set up beside her as the crowd shows the disdain for the woman, however, she just smiles on. Then after a few seconds, the music dies out and she begins to speak*​

Terra: You know, every time that I make my return after a multi-week absence, you guys just seem to know how to make me feel oh so welcomed back.

*The boos intensify and Terra just continues to smile*​

Terra: I know, I know, I've missed myself being in this ring too. So much that when I heard that Mr. Starr was trying to get my suspension extended, I took it up with the Board. And you want to know something?

*"What?!"*​

Terra: For once, the Board actually saw things my way!

*"What?!"*​

Terra: I know, crazy right? When I took my case to the Board and I explained to them just how unprofessional my initial suspension was, they not only declined Mr. Starr's proposal to extend my suspension, but they also decided their were going to be some repercussions for Mr. Starr wrongfully suspending me for a slap to Bryan Weaver when he was clearly provoking it.

*Boos as well as "No!" chants surface, and Terra just continues to smile on, clearly overjoyed about the situation*​

Terra: I don't understand why you'd be chanting "no". It's not like your opinions matter, all that matters is what the Board wants. An-

*The boos grow louder, forcing Terra to stop speaking for a few seconds until they die down*​

Terra: As I was saying, the Board's opinion on the matter is that Mr. Starr overstepped his authority, and that is why there were three consequences that Mr. Starr will now have to face. First, Mr. Starr no longer has the right to suspend ANY Ignition performer without approval from the Board themselves.

*"What?"*​

Terra: Second, I now have the right to host the TerraNova show whenever I want to...as well as take a seat on the commentary team whenever I want to.

*The boos grow way louder than before, and the "No!" chants return at a grander scale*​

Terra: Come now, that isn't even the best part! For the final consequence, next week Mr. Starr must issue a formal apology to me right here in the center of the ring, and the Board must find the apology satisfactory, otherwise there will be further consequences.

*At this point, Terra just laughs in amusement as the crowd shows their disapproval of the entire situation*​

Terra: That is enough about me though. This first episode of the TerraNova Show isn't about me. It is about a woman who went from being a lowly, inexperienced, trashy interviewer last year, to now being the first ever Spark World Champion! Everyone, let me introduce to you your Spark World Champion, Vanessa York!

[Hybrid]

*Vanessa York comes out to a roar of applause, she waves at the fans while making her way down to the ring. Once she gets in the ring Vanessa raises the title before taking a seat.*

 

[Emo]

*Terra takes her seat in the chair opposite of Vanessa*​

Terra: Let's just get right into it. Vanessa, how does it feel. How does it feel that out of the gutter trash known as the rest of the Spark Division, you were the one to capture that Spark World Championship? Not only that, but how does it feel to be able to be the first women to be called a World Champion?

 

[Hybrid]

Vanessa York: Gutter trash? That seems a little close-minded but to answer the question, it does feel nice to have my hard work pay-off. A few months ago I was just an interviewer dealing with Luis's shenanigans and now look at where I am. It's a good feeling.

 

[Emo]

Terra: Of course it is a good feeling! You're a WORLD CHAMPION! Is that seriously the best answer you could come up with?

*Vanessa begins to speak but is cut off*​

Terra: Let's just move onto a more important question, one that you've probably been thinking about since you debuted as a performer only a little over a month ago. How long do you think this little fairy tale of yours will last?

*The crowd begins to boo, to which Terra stands and turns her attention towards them*​

Terra: It is an honest question! We all know that in real life you don't get a fairy tale ending, and if you don't know that, grow up!

*She turns her attention back to Vanessa*​

Terra: So, how long Vanessa? How long before your dream comes crashing down, and someone takes that Spark World Championship off of your shoulder? How long until everything that you've worked so hard for gets taken away from you. Better yet, what will that mean for you when it does happen?

 

[Hybrid]

Vanessa York: I . . . . . . . haven't really thought that far. I, uh. . . Well. . .
*Vanessa is clearly flustered by Terra's aggressive line of questioning*

 

[Emo]

Terra: You're kidding me right?

*She turns her attention back to the crowd as she points at Vanessa*​

Terra: This is your Spark World Champion everybody!

*She performs a mocking clap before turning back to Vanessa*​

Terra: No wonder they kept you on this side of the mic for so long, because anytime anyone tries to question you, you become so introverted!

*She gestures up with her hand at Vanessa*​

Terra: Stand up.

*Vanessa stares at Terra, still flustered, as Terra takes a step closer, seeming more irritated*​

Terra: I said stand up! Just because your mouth isn't working doesn't mean your legs can't!

 

[Hybrid]

*Vanessa slowly stands up, puts the mic to her mouth and utters*
Vanessa York: You're right. . . . . . . . .

 

[Emo]

*Terra slaps Vanessa, forcing her to collapse to a knee grasping her cheek in pain. The crowd boos immensely as Terra then kneels down next to her, raising her mic*​

Terra: You are pathetic. Let me just answer the question for you myself. If this is the kind of champion you want to be, you might as well hand that title over to a real woman before you tarnish it anymore with your childish whimpering.

*She rises back to her feet*​

Terra: Jet, this is the representative you want for your company!? You attempted to make history with this division, and this is who you chose to hold its title? You lot are just making my job easy.

*Waves off Vanessa, who's still holding her cheek*​

Terra: Show's over. What a waste of time...

*Terra walks over to the ropes, stepping through to go back to the announce table*​

 

[Hybrid]

Vanessa York: You didn't let me finish what I was going to say, Terra.
*Vanessa with a whole new demeanor walks over to the ropes nearest the announcer's table*
Vannessa York: You're right about one thing, I am the Spark World Champion. And I don't know how, but that slap you gave me must have ignited something deep inside of me. Knock me out of my stupor. So for that I thank you.
*Vanessa smiles at Terra before turning back to the audience*
Vanessa York: You said dreams come to an end, which may be true but the difference here is that I'm going to do all I can to keep my dream alive. No matter what you or anyone has to say about it. I'm the living embodiment of a dream come true. The real life example of where hard work can get you. So please Mrs.Terra come back into the ring and let's finish our interview.
*Vanessa holds the ropes open for Terra*

 

[Emo]

*Terra smiles as she walks back up the steel steps*​

Terra: So you've finally decided to wake up and take things seriously?

*She steps through the ropes, coming back in to stand face to face with Vanessa*​

Terra: Who knows, maybe there is hope for you yet as a representative of this division. But you want to continue the interview? Okay, let me ask you this. Who would you say is the biggest threat to your fairy tale reign as champion?

 

[Hybrid]

Vanessa York: I treat all my opponents with the same respect because to me each and every one of them is capable of beating me for the title. Only time will tell who it is.

 

[Emo]

*Terra smiles*​

Terra: You keep thinking that way, and I guarantee you that you won't hold that title for longer than a month. But you go ahead, try to prove me wrong. Prove to everyone here that being nice and respectful to everyone is the way to get what you want. Meanwhile, I'll be proving to everyone that doing whatever it takes is not only what gets you to the top, but also what keeps you at the top.

*Terra turns back to the ropes, but stops as she puts her hand on the top rope*​

Terra: Now the show's over.

*Terra tosses the mic at Vanessa's feet and her music hits as she steps out of the ring, leaving Vanessa standing there alone as we cut to commercial*​
