'Terra Nova's' Landon Liboiron Joins Netflix's 'Hemlock Grove' (Exclusive)
UPDATED: In the original series from Eli Roth, he'll play Peter, the son of Famke Janssen's character.

Landon Liboiron is going from a time traveling sci-fi drama to a horror series.

The former Terra Nova co-star has been tapped to join Netflix's original series Hemlock Grove, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

The 13-episode horror show from director/executive producer Eli Roth is set in a ravaged Pennsylvania steel town and begins with the discovery of a young girl's body.

As the crime goes unsolved and outlandish rumors mount, Roman (Bill Skarsgard) and Peter (Liboiron) decide to find the killer on their own, confronting unspeakable truths about themselves and Hemlock Grove as the mystery unfolds.

Famke Janssen is set to play Peter's mom, Olivia, the otherworldly beautiful and controlling grande dame of Hemlock Grove.

Netflix, which abandoned talks to revive Fox's recently canceled Terra Nova, will make the first season of Hemlock Grove instantly available in early 2013.

The series is based on the book by Brian McGreevy, who will write and executive produce alongside EPs Eric Newman (The Last Exorcism, Dawn of the Dead), Lee Shipman (Harker, Zorro Reborn), Michael Connolly (How to Train Your Dragon) and Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Gallactica).

Liboiron, repped by WME and Magnolia Entertainment, becomes the latest Terra Nova cast member to pick up a new gig. Stephen Lang has booked a multiepisode arc on USA's In Plain Sight, while Jason O'Mara recently joined the cast of CBS' untitled Ralph Lamb Western pilot.

Co-star Allison Miller also boarded NBC's comedy pilot Go On. 20th Television, the studio behind Terra Nova, still holds an option on cast members including Lang and O'Mara. Miller and O'Mara's castings are in second position to Terra Nova as 20th continues to seek a home for the dinosaur drama.
