Two Belchertown High School students are now facing criminal charges for a series of Facebook threats.
Belchertown Police Chief Fran Fox says an investigation has found probable cause to bring the two high school freshmen before a judge.
Fox says one freshman has been charged with four counts of threatening to commit a crime. Fox says say that freshman threatened four separate students on Facebook. Another student faces one count of threatening to commit a crime.
An investigation began after one of the students charged allegedly created a detailed hit list on Facebook back in November.
After the incident, both students were suspended. A parent of one of the alleged targets says one of the boys returned to Belchertown High School Thursday and the other will be back in the classroom on Monday.
The parent, who asked to remain anonymous, says she wants them expelled. She also says she may consider taking her own son out of the district if there are no further disciplinary actions from the school.
The teens are scheduled to face a judge in juvenile court.
