In an interview with Monday Night Mayhem, TNA Knockouts Champion Tara expressed her excitement over the future direction of the Knockouts division, including the potential signing of new female talent.
"I love where we’re going. This past Thursday on Impact, we had.... I don’t know, was it 12 or 13 minutes? It was pretty long. They added 5 more minutes to our match on live TV. Thank God we’re all experts and we know how to take care of that, you know what I mean? I know that we are bringing up some talent. A lot of girls are getting Gut Check tryouts, and I think we’re going to see some new faces and a new style of wrestling. I would love for the Knockouts tag belts to be defended, but I don’t know where that stands, I'll be honest with you."
"We have an awesome creative department – Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff and Dave Lagana. They’re huge fans of the Knockouts division, so it’s going to get better. I think us girls in the division are excited about where we’re going. You’ll be seeing a good year, honestly. Some new faces, new tryouts and Gut Check people. I’m excited and nervous at the same time because I’m part of it, you know what I mean? But it can only get better, I think."
