The current plan for the Undertaker is to have arthroscopic hip surgery, which would keep him out for two months. WWE hopes the time off will help heal his knees so that he can return to TV by July. There are creative plans for the Undertaker leading into SummerSlam, but they could be nixed depending on his recovery and if new injuries are found. There is some internal concern that doctors will find more problems with the Undertaker while performing surgery that would keep him out of action longer.

What are the plans? Maybe a SUPERSTAR FEUD with Charlie Haas!?

The plan is probably for a feud with Jericho. I've had a feeling for a while that they'd end up using it over the summer. That wouldn't be bad, this feud would be good any time, but it's better for a Mania feud. I'd like to see him feud with Umaga over the summer, after Umaga is done with Punk.

:cry_1: I really am pulling for Taker. In some ways I never want him to wear down or go, and yet I know it is inevitable. I hope he'll pull through, and be able to do what he does best just a bit longer. I will respect whatever decision he makes though.

if Taker is able to come back full time I think he will feud with Jericho upon his return or a heel Punk.

Arthrro surgery is a cakewalk. Highschool athletes have it every day.

Kinda makes sense tho'...

IF he's AT ALL likely to reture at WM26, then it makes complete sense to cram in their 'must do' fueds with him before then and bearing in mind he physical health and the fact that his programs usually run a fair while, we're prob only talking:

1. SSlam > SSeries/Armageddon.
2. Something small before the the road to mania
3. WM

Let's face it; Jericho is NOT the man to retire Taker nor, assuming he'll retire on a loss, end the streak (Even though him attempting to break it is perfect for Jericho's character, him actually acheiving it would be far from it....)

My guess (as per above)....

1. Jericho
2. Umaga
3. Cena

You KNOW Cena ending Taker's streak would cause another Cena Hate Era. Plus, Cena doesn't really need it. If Taker were to retire with the streak, yeah, it'd be fine for Cena to face him.

Takers streak will never be broken. Cena like hbk will come close but no cigar.

Well, yeah, it begs the same old question... "Will the streak end", but there ARE possible scenarios....

a) Taker faces Cena, wins and retires 18-0. (Regardless of the opponent, this calls for some shit-hot writting from creative to explain his never re-appearing.... Over the years they've booked themselves into a MASSIVE corner here where anything lame/half-assed just shits on the legacy of the gimmick.)

b) They actually embrace Cena's ending the streak as a launch pad for the biggest heel turn since Austin @ WM17.

Said it once, I'll say it again.
If Taker wanted the streak to end it would have ended a long time ago. And I really believe if anyone was going to end it, HBK would have. Having him lose to a new comer would be too great a risk. Why throw away a legacy for someone who you don't even know for sure will make it.
Having an established star end it would be just as dumb...they wouldn't need it and they would have thrown away something incredible for nothing.

I believe if anyone was ever going to beat the streak Orton would have a few years back in the height of his "Legend Killer" gimmick.
