So it's been awhile since I've been on, surely no one has notice (oh well), but I have noticed one thing about the WWE that keeps popping up and it bothers me. It seems that every time there's a new tag team they win the belts. Nothing wrong with that. However, whenever they lose the titles they break up right away. There really is no hunt to gain the belts back, therefore no real rivalry. So why does the WWE keep doing this? And why would they waste money on new belts if they keep doing this?

WWE doesn't really care about tag team wrestler, I believe it the answer to the questions asked. As for the new belts, I read a report when they debuted that said the belts have been sitting around since DX (I believe it was) won the tag titles. They wanted to debut the belts when DX won, but didn't follow through until Kidd and Smith won them.

It's simple enough. WWE keeps failing to produce tag teams with actual interesting gimmicks and back stories. If a team fails to get over within a few weeks they're simply cast aside. See The Uso's... probably one of the most promising tag teams to crop up in some time, already relegated to Superstars matches. The tag belts are simply used as a tool to pair two young up and comers and simultaneously push them at the same time or for a wonderful odd coupling of two feuding main eventers. There are still so many young talents in WWE who haven't established themselves yet, there's still time to form some teams.
As of right now the belts are simply a bragging point for Nexus and will be so until an odd couple needs to be formed within the main event... SHEAMUS AND ORTON ANYONE!??!?! HOW KOOKY!!!!!

Or at least had some back and forth tag title action. The tag belts along with the mid card belts are very easily passed back and forth as often as liked. It simply emphasizes the "hunger" of the younger stars involved.

HD & Uso's should have back-n-forthed the titles, had some stip matches and so on... Nothing else meaningfull on the tag-team horrizon at the time and either or both may have actually got over.

Looks like Tamina & Natalia have the brighter futures at this stage.
