I tried some different effects. I dont mind it.

-pretty simple but looks fine.

the thing is, i think you needed to either add some desaturation effect on the psd or add more color to the grey scale of the bkg. imo.

i dont like it well the background is just to plain imo other wise its good 7.5/10

the background color doesnt really go with the psd... or just do what WS said and desaturate the psd somewhat...

Its way to ordinary for me...You need some sort of a background...The way it is not just don't catch the eye in any ways...and also whats with the lighting by his finger...It makes the picture look wierd because he body is all light up and his face is way to dark...
