I was not expecting that. I saw the stream, and for a second there, I was expecting this stream to be "yawn" worthy. Like nothing much is in the Nintendo Direct... Then, boom. once the screen starts turning black - we knew we were getting a new announcement - then you look closely - in the eye. Its SMASH BROS!

And Mario, and MegaMan, and Dedede. I don't know why Sakurai's doing this but the decision to kill off somebody in like everyone's character reveal trailer might be my favorite thing about Ultimate.

Also, Gangplank Galleon remix for Ultimate is pretty tight.
