You obviously have no idea about SM RPG. Its different from every other Mario game.
HTK, SM RPG was developed by Square/Nintendo. It was a stand out from most Mario games because of the RPG elements provided from Square-Enix.
It has a very deep storyline and the game is widely considered one of the best games ever made. Any true game needs to play this game or else they'll be incomplete.
