Super Heroes vary more than one realizes when you pull them apart from each other. Painting them like they are equal to one another is a bit... odd. I thought this could be a fun thread. I was once into comic heroes quite a bit so stuff like this always interested me the most.

For the sake of not overloading the thread, let's just stick to comic heroes only (Marvel/DC). Below are 7 tiers marking strongest to weakest based on a realistic scale. Being a "God" would obviously be at the top of the list while simply being wealthy would fall at the bottom. Sure there is power in money, but eh. I also make super intelligence fall under experimental because they are generally strong enough to break technology-based suits and gear.

I am sure a few heroes will fall under several different categories such as Iron Man but let's try to keep them separate by focusing on the main point of their power being down to primarily one factor.

God-Tier - "God" or "Goddess" level hero
Ultra-Alien - Super strong alien (not from earth)
Mutant - Mutated by something be it a creature, poison, or accident
Experimental - Usually government-funded experiments resulting in super-human strength
Super Intelligence - It's big brain time
Expertly Trained - Mastered a set skill with a weapon or form of combat
Wealthy - Having money to afford to be a hero

Now, who falls under each category?
I will add them to the table and update it as we rattle them off.

Let me just make this a bit easier.

*throws all X-Men into the Mutants section*
Let us just do popular heroes. There are way too many damn mutants for this list. Also, Spiderman might feel singled out.

Also would like to point out that I don't think Falcon fits any of these.

Anyway let's go two for each one.

God-Tier - "God" or "Goddess" level hero - Dr Manhattan, Sentry
Ultra-Alien - Super strong alien (not from earth) - Mister Miracle, Big Barda
Mutant - Mutated by something be it a creature, poison, or accident - The Flash, Bane
Experimental - Usually government-funded experiments resulting in super-human strength - Hulk, The Thing
Super Intelligence - It's big brain time - Mr Fantastic, Iron Man
Expertly Trained - Mastered a set skill with a weapon or form of combat - Green Arrow, Daredevil
Wealthy - Having money to afford to be a hero - Black Panther, The Atom

This is a tricky one to place. Her mother is a human and her father is technically a demon. She is like Hercules but from the underworld. Is she like Catwoman who is more of a tweener?

Dr Manhattan
Also "Due to an accident involving a nuclear physics experiment, Dr. Osterman was taken outside the physical realm and returned with god-like powers". He would be considered experimental to me. I am not a comic expert here though.

Maybe experimental should be above mutants?

Oh an this is heroes only so no villains, tweeners, or characters that didn't directly protect the earth several times over. Someone else can do villain one if they want.

Raven is definitely a hero. She just gets possessed by Trigon a lot.

She is definitely a hero, because while she occasionally does an evil thing, she goes out of her way to do good

Plus her power is from godly origins, so I'm doubling down on that one
