This is the sig I made from C4's tutorial. I put in a GIF and it took me HOURS.

Looks pretty good, you picked out nice fonts and all that.
You should blend the GIF though, it'd make it look nice but it takes awhile lol

having a GIF in a sig is a very, very very old technique or style. Its like before 2006. Now the static signatures all the way.

How do I mak it so the GIF doesnt have a little shadow on the sides?

You mean borders. And you go to Adobe Photoshop ImageReady to make it.

edit every frame of the GIF. remove the border.

If you colourised the gif with the same green as the sig background, then it would merge better. Just a thought.
