I noticed that many of your work, you use the block tiles. Try use scanlines as a change for example.
Now to talk about it, the main problem about it is the font. I think you need to have another more solid like font and try to not squeeze the font towards the border. Just leave some space between them.

very simple and nice. as WS said try leaving a space between the text and your border. i would also like to say that the stroke around the text on the right is to much maybe a lighter color and less stroke if possible
