Ahh, the good old days. Remember Sunday Night Heat? Some of you may say Superstars is the same thing but, it's not for a few reasons:

  • It was live
  • It was on TV
  • On Sunday, before PPVs.

Remember before a big PPV when two rivals would cut a promo on SNH before their match in that PPV? Undercard guys could get pushes without taking TV time from RAW or SmackDown.

I don't remember too much of it to be honest, I used to watch re-runs of heat in the mornings, but I never watched it live. It just never interested me, like superstars now.

It wasn't great but it sure was better than Superstars.

I always used to watch heat, but I was a bigger fan of Saturday Night Velocity... The name of the show kept me hooked.. Plus, it was mainly smackdown stars on Velocity.. At that time, the Smackdown roster was superb.

Wouldn't it be like Monday morning @ 2 AM Heat for you? Of course you wouldn't enjoy it

I have to admit, no PPV,show or anything looks better than Velocity. The classic SmackDown fist arena.... in green.

Raw wasn't live in the old days was it? I remember Nitro was on Channel 5 on Thursdays or some time similar. I'm almost certain it wasn't a Monday.
