Just finished this after a bad couple of weeks this Doc was the thing I needed today. The Music my God perfection making me want to dance with every Song. You get to find out the World in 69 while them putting so much effort into the Bands and Artists who performed for the Harlem Festival. It pissed me off that Woodstock overshadowed this Festival because I don't have positive things to say about Woodostock but this Festival was all positive and it helped started a revolution for so many people after this. I was waiting to see if their was any Hispanic groups who came to play and Ray Barretto showed up and oh boy it had me bumping to his Music as well. Black, Brown, and Beige came together for a cause and one of the moments outside of Nina Simone performance it was a shot of a White Father having his Black Son on his Shoulder man that got to me.
