As a wrestling fan, I feel that some variations of wrestling moves are not needed. To do a extra flip in the air for a back suplex is stupid. To to a suplex into a front slam is stupid. Its just not needed to me. What are some variations of wrestling moves that you do not like?

to even discuss technical wrestling in today's wrestling is just plain silly.

Indian death lock whenever Triple H did this I always thought he's wasting a perfectly good figure four.

Anything similar to the diamond cutter annnd yeah I haven't seen real wrestling moves for a long time

1st one that comes to mind is Vance Archer's finisher. He does this big set up, when it just ends up being a reverse ddt.

Drew McIntyre's butt fuck of a double arm DDT is lame. Cross Rhodes is gay. Dream Street is weak. What these moves have in common is either too much set up or no real impact.

I too share the same opinion of these variation moves, I especially thought that Vance Archer's was just unnecessary. I like the Cross Rhodes actually, when he excecutes it well it looks like it'd really fuck a guy up. Dreamstreet is another one with unnecassry theatrics. All top rope moves also fall into that catagory as far as I'm concerned, they are all have the same result, whether it is landing on your front or your back just with added theatrics.

Chuck Taylor. Chris Hero. Fuck, 95% of the indy population use overly stupid and contrived moves. Much love to guys like the Briscoes, Generico (ok, the blue thunder crush is crazy) and Kevin Steen for keeping it simple but taking it to the next level.

What I find funny about the five knuckle shuffle is that it always makes the oponent stand up :S. I remember the good old days when Cena had time to pump 'em up before they got up.

The Worm is ten times worse than the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Watch that Too Cool and Mick Foley vs. DX and Radicalz match and see how Perry Saturn sells that shit.
