TORRANCE, Calif. (KTLA) -- A 16-year-old sophomore at Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance has been arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats.

The Catholic school was closed Monday as a precaution while police and administrators combed the campus to make sure there was no danger.

Police reportedly found a YouTube video suggesting that the student would commit unspecified violence on campus. The threat was brought to the attention of authorities Saturday.

The boy, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested Sunday.

He was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and taken to juvenile hall.

According to police, the person making the threat in the video used a synthesized voice.

He said he was acting because a beloved friend was expelled last week and that the action was to occur Monday.

We are the resistance," the speaker said. "Bishop Montgomery shall fall. It shall decline. It shall never be the same. It will bounce, bounce, bounce to motherf------ hell and beyond."

The video included an animated face of an evil wizard with a mustache and goatee, according to the Daily News.

"Witchcraft and wizardry, our wands cut deep," the speaker said. "We are your (inaudible.) Catholics are our sheep and so on. We are anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. Expect us."

Officials said classes would resume Tuesday
