"Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine" took place Jan. 7 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The night's five-fight main card aired on Showtime, and four preliminary bouts aired on Showtime Extreme.
In the evening's main event, Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold earned a first-round TKO win over longtime vet Keith Jardine. Robbie Lawler, Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine also picked up wins on the evening's main card.
Of the 1,992 attendees at the event, 1,065 tickets issued free of charge. The average revenue generated per ticket issued for the event was $34.54. The average cost of the paid tickets was $74.22.
