Here we have a word cloud generated from the play-by-play and comments from last night's Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson live blog. We're looking at the 100 most popular words from the text.
This looks rather pedestrian, but I assure you they aren't all as obvious. I ran one of these for the UFC 132 show a couple weeks after the event, and it was full of references to various regional shows going on that same day.
But anyway, Fedor and Henderson. Despite a solid top-to-bottom card on paper, they were the big stories going into, during, and after the event. That's reflected here with their names big and bold, front and center.
"Retirement" only received small play. (Can't find it? Look over the last "e" in "Strikeforce.") That's in stark contrast to the attention Showtime felt it deserved, splashing a poll about Fedor's career prospects at every possible interlude.
Tim Kennedy's rant against the judges is probably the reason "Jacare" found its way into relevance (bottom right corner).
