With WrestleMania 25 being announced for Houston Texas, many feel that the event could be host to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's final match. Houston wasn't even a top choice for the event three months ago.

From: www.411mania.com/wrestling

- I'm all for it...But only if Austin's 100% (no need to risk injury/further injury on himself for one last match) and he doesn't face Hogan. I don't care how many buys that would do I don't want Austin to job to the bitter old piece of trash

That would not be a good way to end. Thing is, how bad is his neck. I mean could he even get through one more 20 minute match? Plus then there will have to be a build up so its a question of whether his body can hold up.

I'd be a fitting place to end his career. Hell, he could even be indcuted the night before. WM 25 could also be Taker's last match (Though that's not likely).

But who cares about that? I just want to see Terry and Dory Funk indcuted into the Hall of Fame.

That would be awesome...but hopefully its not some lame squash match...They should have him go down like Ric...In an awesome match...

I remember reading that if Austin and Hogan did do battle that Austin would get the win. I remember reading it on Rajah.com. They did a lot of poltiking, but in the end Hogan agreed to job to Austin.

I doubt the wwe could pull off Hogan/Austin in the same ring.

I Wonder who Austin would match up against from the current roster???

IF this happens and that is a big if, he needs to wrestle an active wrestler. There is no way that Austin can still work a match the way he used to, so putting him against a Hogan or someone would just be an awful match and not the way I'd want to remember such a great wrestler. They need do with him what they did with Flair. Put him in a match with someone who can really work great still like HBK and make the match amazing. If Austin isn't able to work a good match, then he shouldn't wrestle. I never took him as someone with a huge ego so I don't think he'd want to do a match unless he knew he could work a good match in the perect situation. I don't think he's the kind of guy that'd do it just to do it.

Being that this Mania is the 25th Anniversary and is in the home state of Autin, Taker(although he's from "death valley") and Shawn Michaels the possibilities are endless for what they could do. I've always wanted to see an HBK-Taker match/feud and think that would be an awesome place to do it.

Them and the Von Erichs BETTER get in next year..On the topic of who Austin should face? Mr. Kennedy, he needs the rub big time. Even if he lost the match it would still do him good being in the ring with Stone Cold and (unless he fucks it up himself again) then he could jump into the main-event picture.

Austin vs Cena is probably the best bet, but only if Cena goes full blown heel before then.

I'd also like to see Austin vs Orton or Austin vs Kennedy

The match that first popped into my head when i read this was Austin vs. Umaga...Think about the potential...It would be awesome...

^That is true it's very early and a lot can change between now and then.

CenaMark,
Now Austin-Kennedy would definitely have possibilities. Kennedy and Austin are supposedly pretty close backstage and Kennedy is said to have a lot of respect for him so he'd probably be willing to job. That match would have amazing promos and build up. We'll see though, Kennedy could be a title program at that point, so that might not work, but we'll see, I would definitely love that match-up though.

Well, if this is true then he wouldn't face Hulk Hogan, he would face The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels (Yes, one of them will retire at WrestleMania 25) Hogan will be dead by then  And as SP said, Stone Cold might be in the Hall of Fame by next year! And as for Kennedy-Austin I don't see that happening!

If Austin and Hogan ever fought and Hogan won id riot. It was bad enough when he beat Michaels, then he beat Orton (which was even worse), he ever beats Austin thats the day part of me dies.

way too early for him to decide like said before above but well if he is on the card i am so watching it but i have a feeling they are going to change their minds with making him the reff or something strange like in mania 23, still i am interested.
