Sting - No More Title Shots, Brother

Appreciation thread of this brilliant call, that should've happened 3 yrs ago I guess, but better now than never!

Sting is a legend and one of the best ever in the history of pro wrestling, but thank fuck - no more WHC title shots.

He can still be and still is the very valuable asset to TNA, but he can be it without being the champ - so it's a right call. Finally.

That being said, him and Bully really stepped up their game and brought it Sunday night, and it was a great last title match of The Icon.

I agree that he should not be in the world title scene, but what do you do with him now? You've got Hogan as the authority figure, Angle as the veteran, and AJ as the guy in his prime to go up against A&Es. Stinger just doesn't seem to fit in anywhere right now.

Tag him with a young guy (Magnus?) as a teacher/student thing. Lord knows they need more tag teams

Ahhh, I don't know. He can still fight with the Aces a bit.... or get a rest until mid-Summer.... or be a Gutcheck judge with ocassionaly wrestling here and there. Anything really.
