"“State of the WWE” debate on the network right after Raw, with Stephanie & Foley vs. McMahon & Bryan, I guess debating the merits of Raw vs. Smackdown as a way to heat up that aspect of Survivor Series."

- Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nov. 14 2016.

Despite being shown for Raw next week it will indeed be on the Network Special, so if WWE plans on keeping Raw Talk as well for that evening Raw and the Pre Show. Raw will be 4 AND A HALF HOURS LONG.

Nobody cares, lol.

NOT ABOUT THE THREAD. about the State of the WWE Address.
They've really conditioned us to not care about stuff like this. It's either lame comedy or just something to set up an angle. Much like the whole Vincent McMahon award thingie bringing back Shane
I'd love it to be Vince telling the fans off though. Promo of the century!

I think its more like a presidential debate sort of thing of just them shitting on each other because we need to be reminded how Smackdown is the B Show despite it being better.

Well, I'll gladly skip it, the pre-show and the post-show stuff, of course.

The 3 hour Raw is already killing their audience and the only reason its not been cut is because its 50 Million dollars of their 150 Million dollar TV deal (Source: Observer Radio) and it would be a hard sell to stockholders despite it being a much smarter option in the long run.

Knowing this I don't see why they keep pushing for longer and longer. Smackdown was literally perfect, 2 hour show and 20 Minute Talking Smack completely optional on the Network but now they are force feeding us 205 Live on top of that.

I wouldn't mind 205 Live if it was BEFORE Smackdown but no, its after Smackdown and before Talking Smack so if I want to watch Talking Smack I need to wait around for an hour.

just something to set up an angle.
This is a wrestling promotion. They're mean't to build angles and storylines. That's a pretty silly criticism to make.
