We noted after SummerSlam that there was backstage talk of actor Stephen Amell possibly returning to WWE down the line to work a singles match with Stardust. Amell noted on Twitter that he's working on his ring work in case there is a rematch and Stardust issued a statement in response, to which Amell replied. Here are their tweets:

I personally wouldn't care for this, but looks like Amell had a lot of fun at SummerSlam and wants to get back in that ring. I respect that.

While I want Cody back, ASAP, this could bring in some new viewers.

I was suprised at Summerslam with Amell's performance, there were a few spots that he needs work on but very impressive. If he wants to get back in the ring I to respect him for it.

And tbh a singles match with stardust I wouldn't mind seeing.
