Anyone seen it? I'm not a Star Trek fan, at all, or a fan of anything from that genre, so I probably will never see it, but I did wanna hear other people's opinions on it. I hear it's supposed to be pretty good. Is it extremely nerdy stuff, like it FEELS like Star Trek, or did they actually make it watchable?

I watched it Saturday and thought it was very good. This movie had it all- action, drama, comedy (Simon Pegg was great as Scotty). It has it's nerdy parts (it is Star Trek after all) but the movie will appeal to everybody. I highly recommend it.

I tried to watch it, but I was kinda tired and after seeing the first 10 minutes completely filled with CGI, I got pissed and tuned it off. I might try to watch it again. I'm afraid it's going to be one of those movies that look "great" (well, as great as over-done special effects can look) that really don't have any substance for the brain.

Heard it's excellent, so maybe.

Then again, it has that Zachary freaky eyes, so maybe not.
