How can i prevent the automatic subscribing to threads?

To my knowledge, I haven't once subscribed to a thread yet every Monday morning I get into work and find a billion and one emails from Mike Chaos saying "thread updated" or similar....

Okay.

User CP - Edit Options - Default Thread Subscription Mode (drop down menu). Set this to never, unfortunately you must then unsubscribe from all of your current threads manually.

It blows, I know.
