Like I said - when Nexus had to face a fair fight in the numbers game... it was going to be a squash, and last night, the trap snapped the mouse.

If it would have been that Superpower team of Cena, Orton, Edge, Sheamus, Jericho... I could have stomached what they did last night. But to let Goldust, Morrison (no offense to Morrison, but srsly?), Kozlov, Khali, Santino, Kidd, and Yoshi are the guys that are able to so easily clear the ring of Nexus... we have a huge problem. They made these guys look like the chumps that rookies are supposed to look like. Low-card (or non-matched) Superstars defeating the alliance that "almost ended [Cena's] career", just completely left Nexus in the shitter imo.

An angle that garnered a huge following... and had been wasted week after week... finally gets its nail in the coffin. Just continue with the burial and put these guys under hard, because the only way they save this booking is if they let 'em win, which makes whoever they defeat now... look like complete garbage.

The burial? Just because they lost a fight not only for the first time since the angle started, but because they were even in numbers. You keep saying how you always saw coming the fact that when the rookies faced even in numbers, they would lose....well, that's exactly what the WWE has been teasing. The only reason they get to do those brutal attacks is because they attacked lone wrestlers. Hence the reason why you keep hearing that the wrestlers have to team up to face them, because that's when they are able to take them down.

Besides, remember....we are supposed to still believe they are rookies, therefore, a step below the Kozlovs, the Yoshi Tatsus and any other WWE Superstar.

I thought it was 10 vs. 7. Cena, Bourne, Morrison, Henry, Khali, Kozlov, Santino, Yoshi, Kidd, Goldust?

Also, logically: Henry, Kozlov, and Khali are three big guys. Cena is superman, Bourne and Morrison are two rising wrestlers, Kidd is a champion, Yoshi and Goldust are in that low mid card level and Santino is the jobber.

So yeah, nice try at taking a shot at WWE, but it wasn't a fair 7 vs. 7... >.>

Seriously guys, you don't NEED to have a reason or NEED to justify everything you post. You end up looking worse. Just come out and say "I don't like the NXT storyline". It's not that hard.

What? I completely disagree. No one is asking for a thesis statement, but to come in and say "NXT sucks" is LAME. People do need to justify it somewhat as to not look like an ignorant hater and it acutally would make for some much needed discussion. What we don't need is threads filled with "I hate NXT. It sucks." or the whatnot. It makes the boards seem bush league and the members look dumb and it takes away from the point of a forum; discussion. What's so hard to say "I think Nexus sucks because all the guys are jobbers IMO?" That goes alot further than "Nexus sucks.". Savvy?

Yeah, strongly disagree here. You SHOULD justify what you said. At least in this part of the boards anyway. If not, they'll be threads like "Cena Sucks" and in said thread, he's stall and boring. That's it. It'll be tons of threads like that. Sure some people end up looking worse trying to explain or winding up in a debate they can't handle, but I'd rather that than "Randy Orton is so awesome" threads with the opening post only saying "agreed?"

Yes, but I didn't WANT to see them lose when they faced even numbers. If they'd have prevailed against even numbers, they'd be talked about even more than what they already were. Part of their character as a stable was, "we didn't all get the contract, but we're going to prove we deserve 'em". How do they deserve it when guys who haven't had airplay in weeks come out and help rid the ring of them? Hell, I remember watching the birth of the nWo and 2 guys handled the entire WCW roster for months, even before Hogan... not saying these guys are anything on the level of Hall and Nash... but still - I'd EASILY believe that any of the 7 members are credible enough to hang with the guys in the ring.

I thought it was 10 vs. 7. Cena, Bourne, Morrison, Henry, Khali, Kozlov, Santino, Yoshi, Kidd, Goldust?

Still don't buy that they got destroyed so easily... and it WAS a squash, and of embarrassing stature because of who the guys were that attacked them. I'd have rather seen them jump out of the ring on their own and just have one who didn't make it out in time, rather than seeing 6 of them get bodied and thrown out with ease.

"Squash"

Cena got squashed by a bunch of NXT Rookies... and McMahon... and Orton & Edge... and legends... I'd say yeah... it would have made sense if they could have kept holding their own... that's called putting young talent over... even if they don't deserve it over some of the guys on the roster before them in the minds of some of the internet smarks... they'd been destroying people... carry it on and keep them unstoppable until something like a Survivor Series match where it comes down to a 1 on 1 or something at the end... we can already damn near be guaranteed that Cena really does take 'em out 1 by 1 in the next 4-6 weeks............

Seriously guys, you don't NEED to have a reason or NEED to justify everything you post. You end up looking worse. Just come out and say "I don't like the NXT storyline". It's not that hard.

Thank you two! BTW, I really did like the Nexus storyline - but last night really kinda killed anything they had left going for them.

Randy Orton and John Cena destroyed the entire RAW roster at one point... you're mad about John Cena along with multiple other people clearing the entire ring of guys we were forced to believe just months ago needed guidance and could barely get over on their mid-card trainers?

Yes, because I'm still supposed to believe that while Cena and Orton hung with about 16+ guys... that Cena himself couldn't hang with 7 (kayfabe, I know it was 8). Shit, the fact that Cena AND Orton AND Edge couldn't dispose of the Nexus (even though they were "exhausted" from their match) after Cena and Orton destroyed 16+ on their own before.............. I'm just sayin'...........

In the end this is just going to end up being Cena overcoming the odds once again people. Except this time the WWE title isnt the focal point and we MIGHT get a new star when this is all said and done (Barrett). As shown last night, Cena will somehow take out the Nexus one by one until Barrett vs Cena happens with Cena winning and proving to all the orange shirt wearing children that anything is possible.

Your logic in this thread Legacy is pointless. I get that you don't like the storyline, but everything you had said to me and noum to go against our responses is illogical.

You mean the fact that you two are pointing out that when they were on NXT - they were weak and needed guidance... which everyone is assuming they don't have?

You mean the fact that you two are ignoring that their rookie status actually got them in position to get McMahon to take the bait so they could take him out? The fact that they bonded together to get contracts for each and every one of 'em? Yeah... I'm being illogical here in saying that a bunch of rookies working together taking out some of the top talent... got destroyed mainly by chumps who most of the wrestling world probably feels doesn't deserve any of the airtime they get... whereas these guys have done the best they could with what they've been given since the faction started.

Yeah, very illogical to believe that a bunch of athletically gifted, dangerous rookies could pose a threat to people. I guess it was illogical to have them garner any success this entire time? No, what is illogical is they've barely gone a full month and they're already being overtaken......

...I mean, damn - didn't a "rookie" Batista break Goldberg's leg? Didn't a "rookie" Randy Orton destroy legend after legend? Didn't a "rookie" Sheamus take Triple H out?

Yeah, okay... I'm being illogical here.

Noum said that not me. Here is how you're being illogical...

Justin Gabriel, you expect him to be much of a brawler? Sheffield, Otunga, and Barrett are legit brawlers. Young... Slater not so much. Tarver yeah.

They were up against, A giant like Khali who logically could trade blows 1 v 1, the world's strongest man, a man as dangerous as Kozlov is made out to be, Morrison and Bourne, two rising stars. Superman Cena. Goldust who has a good win/loss record and he also took Jericho to his limit a few months back. Yoshi who has dangerous kicks and Santino there for support. You expect the rookies to no sell the shit out of 10 guys let alone the 10 i just name? No.

And about Randy Orton and Cena standing up to 16+ guys. It was done in a tag team style, mostly one on one until the end and the locker room collasped. Remember? Also Cena was surrounded by the rookies. You expect Cena to no sell the shit out of 8 guys after he was jumped by all of them at the same time? That would've ruined everything! Also Cena, Orton, and Edge were exhausted and distracted. 2 v 1 and a 3 v 1 beatdown? Be smart here.

Not to mention the fact that the Nexus basically killed Steamboat the week before, beat Bret Hart half to death, beat MR.MCMAHON the week before last and destroyed Cena on numerous occasions. So the fact that WWE superstars (keep in mind these guys are still rookies) for once overcome when they finally get their hands on The Nexus is obsurd. Internet smark-ism at it's finest! I honestly don't know how much you wan from WWE at this point. The epicness they put into all of the attacks have made The Nexus look great and dangerous. Once again, how many times do you see John Cena get destroyed? Legends? Mr. McMahon? WWE Officials? Dude, what more can you ask for?
