Welcome to this week's RAW Review. On tap for this week, its Chris Jericho and Lance Cade vs Shawn Michaels and a mystery partner WHO IS DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO BE HHH

Batista makes his way to the ring. Santino and Beth come out shortly afterwards, and he brings out the Honk-A-Meter (He's up to 6 weeks, for those keeping count). Santino promises to leave Batista worse than the economy after their match.
Batista vs Santino Marella (SQUASH!!!)
Clothesline, a couple of Shoulder Blocks in the corner, Spinebuster, Batista Bomb and this one is over.

Post-Match, Batista and Beth stare down each other. This allows JBL to sneak in the ring, and hit The Clothesline from Hell on The Animal.
Backstage, THE GRISH is with Shawn Michaels. Shawn says some good things about Cade, then talks about finding a partner for tonight, and teases it being either Hogan, Austin or Bret, He then mentions that he'll just find a partner that likes him (WHO TOTALLY WON'T BE HHH).

Back to the show and The Miz makes his way to the ring. He will take on Cryme Tyme's JTG.
The Miz W/John Morrison vs JTG W/Shad Gaspard
Lock-up to start. Miz whips JTG to the corner, but JTG goes to the apron and hits a Slingshot Shoulder Block, followed by a Dropkick for a two count. JTG with a Headlock, but Miz counters and hits a Stun Gun. Miz locks in a Cravate, but JTG escapes and he delivers some right hands followed by a Leap Frog Fame-Asser. JTG goes up top and hits a Leg Lariat, then hits a Clothesline. Morrison gets up on the apron, but is knocked down by Shad. This distracts JTG and allows Miz to hit The Reality Check for the win.

Backstage, Jamie Noble finds Jillian and asks her if she wants to team up with him tonight. Jillian declines, and Dolph Ziggler shows up and introduces himself to her.

The Burchill's are in the ring as Jamie Noble comes out. Shortly afterwards, William Regal and Layla come out to watch. Mickie James comes out, and she'll be Noble's partner for the match.
Jamie Noble & Mickie James vs Paul Burchill & Katie Lea
Burchill takes over early with Right Hands and Knees. Katie tags herself in and gets a 2 count off of a Roll-Up. Noble tags in Mickie who hits a Snapmare on Katie, but gets tripped up by Paul when she was running the ropes. Katie locks in a Surfboard, but Mickie escapes and hits a Neckbreaker. Paul and Noble are tagged in, and Jamie hits a Low Dropkick, followed by a Back-Drop Driver and a Missile Dropkick from the top rope. The cover by Jamie is broken up by Katie. Mickie James hits the Thesz Press from the second rope, then tosses Katie out of the ring. Jamie hits The Minoru Special II (Northern Lights Suplex into a Cross Arm-breaker) for the tap-out.

Backstage, Team Priceless say something to Kane. I was watching Monday Night Football, so I missed it.
We get a replay of Lance Cade getting the win over Shawn last week. He says he's learned more from Jericho in 3 months than he has from Shawn Michaels in 10 years. Then he leaves. Yup.
CM Punk makes his way to the ring, and its time for an 8-man tag team match.

CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston vs Team Priceless & Kane
Manu and Bourne start the match. Manu is on offense early, until Bourne escapes a Suplex and tags in Mysterio. Bourne swings Rey into Manu, then Rey tosses Bourne to the outside and he takes out Manu. The tag champs are sent outside, then Kane gets the same treatment. Kofi and Punk hit Stereo Dives, then Rey hits a dive of his own and takes out Kane.

We are back, and Cody has a Half-Nelson locked in on Bourne. Manu is tagged in and he goes to work on Evan's arm, then hits a Belly to Back Suplex. Bourne manages to tag in Punk, who hits a Springboard Clothesline on Manu. He hits the Running Corner knee, and a then kicks Ted Dibiase, but Manu hits a Chop-Block. Cody is tagged in and he locks in a Spinning Toehold. Kane is tagged in and he stomps Punk for a bit, before tagging in Ted Dibiase. Dibiase continues to work on Punk's knee, then he and Cody hit a Double Suplex on CM. The heels continue to work over Punk's leg, until he tags in Kofi who cleans house... Then gets Chokeslammed by Kane to end the match.

Mike Adamle is in the ring, and he announces that if Kane beats Rey Mysterio at No Mercy, Rey will have to unmask in the middle of the ring. Of course, you can go to Youtube and find a vid of Rey taking the mask off after a similar match with a similar stipulation in WCW.
Randy Orton interrupts, I don't care about what he says. JBL comes out, and I go back to watching Football. Apparently, Batista came out and Speared JBL at some point.

Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall vs Candice Michelle and Kelly Kelly
Beth takes over with some forearms on Candice. Candice hits a low Dropkick, then tags in Kelly and they hit a Double Dropkick. Candice with the Double Axe Handle from the top, but Beth takes her to the corner and tags in Jillian. Candice almost botches a Headscissors (Ladies and Gentlemen, THE NEXT WOMEN'S CHAMP!!), but gets slammed down to the mat by Jillian. Beth is back in and she hits a Backbreaker for 2. Jillian is back in and she locks in a Surfboard. She misses the Handspring elbow, then gets hit a with a Spinning Wheel Kick by Candice, and both ladies are down. Both Kelly and Beth are tagged in, Kelly gets a bit of offense in, but Beth just hits The Glam Slam FTW!!

The Great Charli W/Runjin Singh (Seriously!) vs Deuce W/Lack of talent
Charli hits The Brain Chop, and then a Headbutt. He tries for the Tree Slam, but Deuce hits a sick kick instead. Haas loses the wig, beats down Deuce, and hits a Clothesline from the top rope and this one is over!

We get a video montage for Wrestlemania, and they pimp that WM 24 will air on MyNetwork TV this Thursday. Of course, no clips of WM XX, because that show never happened AND THE MAIN EVENT FROM THAT NON-EXISTENT SHOW DEFINITELY DID NOT HAPPEN!
Chris Jericho and Lance Cade are out. Jericho says he'll take out Shawn and No Mercy, and that he doesn't need luck.

Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring, then goes to the back. DX's music plays and HHH is revealed to be Shawn's partner (Bet you never saw that coming!!!).
Chris Jericho & Lance Cade vs Shawn Michaels and HHH
Jericho and HHH start us off. Chris attacks, but gets run over by a Shoulder Block. Hunter attemps the High Knee, but Jericho counters into a Walls, but that's blocked. Cade is tagged in and hits some clubbing blows on HHH, who then hits a Clothesline. HHH hits a Knee Drop, then tags in Shawn who hits some Chops, followed by a Flying Fore-arm. HBK tackles an interfering Jericho, then chases him on the outside. HBK is back in the ring, and run into a Big Boot by Cade. Jericho is back in, and he misses a Lionsault attempt. HBK and Jericho tag in their respective partners. HHH hits the AA Spinebuster on Cade, goes for The Pedigree but gets hit with The Codebreaker instead. Michaels comes in and takes Jericho down. Cade hits a Clothesline, and he and Chris beat down Shawn until we get a DQ.

Post-Match, Jericho and Cade set up a ladder in the middle of the ring. HHH brings out the Sledgehammer, and Jericho bolts, leaving Cade alone in the ring. Sledgehammer shot by HHH, followed by a Superkick, followed by a Pedigree. Shawn climbs the Ladder, and hits a Splash on Cade as the show ends.
A damn good show. We had some good wrestling, and they built up all of the RAW matches for No Mercy. Hell, HHH didn't even pin anyone!
