Welcome, to my later than usual RAW review.
We open up to a video package showing how Batista became the number one contender for the WHC. Also, Kane went nuts for the 102th time in his WWE career. Shane and Steph pop up on the titantron and beg the RAW wrestlers to change the way they've been action, or there WILL be consequences.
We are at ringside and Shawn and Jericho are brawling down the ramp. Cade shows up and drags Jericho to the back. Kane makes his way to the ring (With bag in hand) and he apologizes to Cole and Lawler for last week's actions. Backstage, Cade, Jericho and Shawn are all brawling until security pulls them apart. Back in the ringside area, and Mickie James makes her entrance.
Mickie James vs Katie Lea
Good match, albeit a short one. Katie takes over on offense early and often. Katie Irish Whips Mickie to the corner and sets her on the top rope, but James counters with the Mickiecanrana. She goes back up top and hits the Thesz Press for the win.
Winner:Mickie James
Post match, Paul Burchill gets in the ring and helps Katie beatdown James. Kofi makes the save, and challenges Paul to a match right now! Paul agrees.

Kofi Kingston vs Paul Burchill (Intercontinental Title Match)
Another good match, which got a decent amount of time. Kofi actually dominated most of the early portion of the match, until Kofi goes to the corner for a Headscissors Takedown, which Paul counters by slamming him down and hitting Kingston in the gut with his knee. Kofi makes the comeback with his usual offense, he hits the Boop Boop Legdrop and goes for the pin. Katie gets up on the apron to distract the ref, but Mickie pulls her off as Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise inside the ring to score the pinfall.
Winner:Kofi Kingston
Backstage, Santino Marella informs Matt Striker (These two should team up) that he has made an open challenge. Kane interrupts and asks Santino where Punk is. Santino: Did you try the Pepsi Machine?
COMMERCIAL!!!
We are back...stage, that is. Kane runs into Punk, and says he wants to face him in the ring tonight. Punk accepts and asks Kane what's in the bag. Kane just laughs.
Back, backstage. Tood Grisham is with THE JOHN, and he cuts a long (But very good) promo. He challenges JBL to find two partners to face Cryme Tyme and himself in tonight's main event.
Santino is out for the open challenge and his opponent is... Beth Phoenix?!?
Santino Marella vs Beth Phoenix
Face turn for Beth? Lock-up at the start. Beth quickly takes over after hitting an Atomic Drop. Phoenix hits a Scoop Slam for two. Beth goes for an Irish Whip, but Santino reverses and sends her into the corner. Marella charges, and misses into the corner, which allows Beth to roll him up for the quick win.
Winner:Beth Phoenix

Kelly makes her way to the ring, but she is interruped by Rhodes and Dibiase. Both of them cut a good promo, until Jim Duggan interrupts. They call him a never was (Among other things) and leave the ring. JBL shows up on the tron, and "gives" the kids the chance to main event RAW. They agree.
COMMERCIAL!!!
Kane vs CM Punk (Non-Title match)
Punk starts off quickly with some kicks which send Kane to the outside, but he misses a Baseball Slide which allows Kane to take over. Kane continues to be on offense an applies an ORTON LOCK. Punk escapes the Chinlock and goes for a Sunset Flip, but Kane just picks him up by the throat. CM manages to escape due to a lot of kicking, then hits an Enzuguiri which sends Kane to the corner. Punk hits the Running Knee twice, but gets shoved off when he goes for the Bulldog. Kane goes after Punk, but is met by a Roaring Elbow instead. Dropkick to the knee, followed by a kick to the back of the head gets CM a 1 count. He goes up top and hits a Crossbody which gets him a 2 count. Punk goes for the GTS, but Kane elbows his way out and then goozles Punk who escapes by kicking Kane right in the head. Punk goes for the Springboard Clothesline, but Kane hits a sick Uppercut sending Punk to the outside. Outside, CM sends Kane into the ringpost, then hits a Bulldog from the apron, allowing Punk to get back in the ring as Kane is counted out.
Winner:CM Punk
Post match, Kane throws a lot of chairs into the ring. He goes after Punk and beats him up, then sets a chair on Punk's throat. Kane goes up top, but BATISTA comes out to make the save. He hits a Spear on Kane, then knocks him to the outside with a chair shot. Punk offers Dave a handshake, but Batista will have none of it. Batista pats Punk on the face, which prompts Punk to push him, only to get hit with a Spinebuster by the Animal.

We are back with clips of CTC destroying JBL's limo last week.
Chris Jericho W/Lance Cade vs Paul London W/
A Paul London sighting? Jericho dominates as expected. London tries to make a comeback, but misses a Springboard attempt. Jericho hits a Northen Lariat, a Double Underhook Backbreaker and locks in THE LIONTAMER (THE WCW VERSION!!!) to get the submission victory.
Winner:Chris Jericho
Post match, Jericho cuts a Darth-Vader like promo and tells London to either go to the dark side (Shawn's) or the good side (Jericho's). HBK comes out and says that he and Chris don't agree on anything.. Except this one thing. At the GBA, the worst is yet to come.
Backstage, Jamie Noble is hitting on Layla (Noble:We could be RAW's power couple) and says that he will beat down the next guy he sees. Snitsky shows up, and Noble tells him that he just earned a one-way ticket on the Pain Train to Noblesville.
Snitsky vs Jamie Noble W/Layla
This isn't an official match. As expected, Noble gets his ass kicked. Snitsky hits a Pump Handle Slam and that is all.
Winner (?):Snitsky

We get a repeat of Shane and Steph's message at the start of the show. Cole and Lawler run down the GBA card.
JBL, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase vs John Cena and Cryme Tyme
Cena and Rhodes start us off. Cena beats down Cody at the start, as he glares at JBL. Shad is tagged in, and he continues the assault on young Cody. Rhodes escapes a Military Slam attempt, and tags in Dibiase. JTG is now in, and he gets beat down by Dibiase. He tags Cody back in and its his turn to kick some ass (Note
is showing a LOT of personality). The heels take turns beating down JTG and then JBL is tagged in. After a couple of boots, he tags Rhodes back who goes up top for a Moonsault... And misses. JTG with the hot tag to Cena. He hits a Clothesline on Cody, then introduces Ted to the 5 moves of doom. Cena hits the FU on Ted, then hits The Throwback on Cody and locks him in the STFU. JBL boots Cena in the head, and we have a DQ??
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?
Winners:Cena and Cryme Tyme
The announcers try to explain what happened, but to no avail. JBL runs to the back, and Cena follows him. Cena goes all the way out to the Parking Lot, and JBL knocks him out with a Steel Pipe. JBL sets Cena into a car, and gets into a car of his own and we get the FAKEST stunt in wrestling since the time The Giant fell off a building... Then showed up at the arena 1 hour later unscathed.
Here's the vid of JBL "running over" Cena.

Overall Thoughts:Another good show this week... And then we got the BS finish to the Main event and the show. Still, some build for The Great American Bash, and a lot of tv time for the youngers guys. All in all, this show gets a thumbs up.
Remember to read Kaedon's NSZ and his SD review, as well as Chessarmy's Victory Road review. Until next week, I am out!
