Welcome to your weekly dose of ECW, uhh.... Extremeness? Anyways, on tap for tonight we have the contract signing between Kane and Chavo Guerrero (Which is spanish for WARRIOR!).

NO BS to start as head straight to the wrestling.

CM Punk vs The Miz (With John Morrison on commentary)

They start off with some quick headlocks until Punk takes the advantage with a grounded headlock (And there IS a difference). Miz gets up and tosses Punk to the ropes and knocks him down with a Shoulder Block. Miz goes for another Shoulder Block but CM counters with a drop toe-hold. Punk goes after the leg, but Miz tosses him to the outside. Punk is back on the apron and gets distracted by John Morrison which leads to Miz knocking him down again. Punk is back in and Miz gets a two count. Miz with an Ortonlock, Punk escapes but runs right into a Clothesline that gets Miz another two count. Miz hits some forearms but Punk hits a spin kick. Punk follows up with the Springboard Clothesline and gets a two count. Morrison tries to interfere and is thrown out by the ref as we head to commercial.

We are back with Miz in control once again. Miz continues to be on offense, and hits an Inverted DDT on Punk. Another Ortonlock by by Miz. Punk escapes and eventually both men are knocked out via Clotheslines. Both men are up at eight and Punk hits the KENTA Rush (The Slap, Slap, Backfist combo). Miz is sent to the corner, but hits Punk with a Big Boot. Miz charges at Punk but is met by a Snap Powerslam for two. Miz backs Punk into the corner and hits his Running Clothesline then hits a Slingshot Elbow for a two count. Punk hits a Leaping Kick and follows it uo with the Running Knee/Bulldog combo. Punk hits the Go2Sleep and this one is over!

Winner:CM Punk

Backstage is Armando Estrada. Colin and Tommy eventually walk in and Armando makes a match between Dreamer and Delaney. If Colin wins, he's got a contract... But Tommy would be FIRED!

Its time for the Contract Signing and its your typical WWE contract signing. Kane and Chavo talk some smack, but then, a twist! Justin "The Ox" LaRouche (He obviuosly wasn't called that, but that's the dude) makes his debut and attacks Kane. Kane is eventually set up on a table and Chavo hits a Frogsplash through the table.

Commercial time!!!

We are back and Elijah Burke will be in action.

Elijah Burke vs Nunzio (Squash!)

I'll keep this short (Like Nunzio). Burke basically beats down Nunzio for two minutes. He goes for the Elijah Express but Nunzio can't even stand up, so Burke hits the Legsweep/STO combo to win the match.

Winner:Elijah Burke

COMMERCIAL TIME!!!

We are back and its more wrestling.. Of the squash variety that is.

Kofi Kingston vs Domino (Kofi and Dominoes... That must be a good life)

You know how this goes... Domino gets some offense in, Kofi flies around. Kofi hits the *Boop Boop Legdrop*, then hits the Cool Runnningss FTW. WWE needs to do something with Kofi because this shit is getting repetitive.

Winner:Kofi Kingston

Backstage, Eve and Kelly are talking, but Layla interrupts and threatens Eve for some reason that I didn't pay attention to.

Commercial... And upon out return, we learn that Taker and Kane will team up on next week's ECW.

Tommy Dreamer vs Colin Delaney (Contract vs Contract)

Colin has an entrance video (But still no music!) and gets a pretty big pop. Dreamer beats down Colin for the most part until he charges at Delaney and is sent over the top rope. Delaney follows up with a Flying Body Press to the outside. Back in the ring and Colin hits a Slingshot Front Flip but only gets a one-count. Dreamer makes the comeback and hangs Delaney in the Tree of Woe. Running Dropkick by Tommy, followed up by the DDT and this one is over.

Winner:Tommy Dreamer

Dreamer helps Colin up as the show goes off the air.

ECW thoughts:Slight thumbs-up this week thanks in large part to a very good match between Punk and Miz (That wasn't a typo). The Contract signing was about what we usually get, but the debut of the new guy helped spice things up a bit. Hopefully, the new guy's good in the ring. Elijah Burke got a win which is always good and here's hoping that WWE actually decide to push him because the dude can go in the ring and he's money on the mic.

GIVE KOFI SOMETHING TO DO!! We get it, he's athletic, we get it, he's always happy. Now put him in the ring with someone who isn't a scrub and give him a feud. Hey, how bout if Burke and Kofi feud? The ME was ok but when is Colin getting his first win?

That's it for this week, please remember to read Kaedon's NSZ and his SD review. That's all for me, I am out!

Good review. I saw the opener, which was very decent and then the contract signing. I laughed @ that jobber.

And btw, this is the last time I go to gerweck for spoilers. They had it in bold and UPPERCASE font that Dreamer got fired and made a big deal of it, but then after the match was actually over, they changed the results. Nice job or reporting, assholes.

Anyways, good review as always SP.

i noticed that Burke has gained weight. Is he on roids? or he became a lazy hungry pig recently?

good review there Mr Power of the Soul.

I would say that he's been making a couple of extra trips to the buffet line. Then again, considering that he isn't used that much, I can't blame him.

The amazing thing about Punk and Miz is the fact that they've had so many matches against each other, yet unlike Joe/Angle, they've come up with new and exciting moments we hadn't seen in their previous matches. Thumbs up to them!
