Sitting here watching a John Candy flick and it hit me. I will start a thread based on deceased actors/actresses that have left us recently and to pay homage to them. So I will start off with the big guy himself John Candy.

John Candy was a jovial man who made the most of what was given to him and it is with my belief that Chris Farley would not have been the success that he was without Big Ol John Candy paving the way for him. So I will post some of the movies that I remember him for and would like for you to discuss your memories of John or his movies.

John Candy and Dan Akroyd in one of the best family camping films where they eat a huge 76oz steak fight a bear with a bald spot. Great film great times and crazy racoons.

Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and John Candy in the great army flick. They can't do anything right but make you laugh.
