*SPOILERS* WWE SmackDown Tapings for 7/19/13

[Dale]

* Teddy Long opens SmackDown and says Vince McMahon will be giving him a job evaluation later tonight. Teddy could become the permanent General Manager of SmackDown. Booker T's music hits and out he comes. Booker thanks Teddy but says he's keeping his job. Vince comes out and talks about the job. Teddy makes Chris Jericho vs. Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Title and Booker makes Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton.

Brad Maddox comes out and says he's already booked those matches and has something even better - Rob Van Dam. Vince pulls a fast one and says Vickie Guerrero is the new SmackDown General Manager. Out she comes to huge heat. Vickie rips everyone for not supporting her before.

* Dolph Ziggler beat Jack Swagger with the Zig Zag. The referee sent Zeb Colter and Antonio Cesaro to the back after Cesaro interfered. Ziggler cut a promo after the match and said he should have dumped AJ Lee a long time ago.

* We see AJ and Big E Langston watching backstage. She flips out and attacks Big E. He calms her down and they hug. They go to kiss but Big E stops and kisses her on the forehead instead.

* The Usos vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns is up next. The match never starts as Dean Ambrose runs down. Mark Henry makes the save for The Usos and the crowd goes nuts for him. The Shield escape through the crowd.

* Daniel Bryan beat Wade Barrett by submission. Bryan came out to a massive pop.

* MizTV with Paul Heyman. Heyman praises Brock Lesnar and tells CM Punk to just give up. Heyman threatens another attack from Lesnar. The Miz cracks jokes to end the segment.

* Curtis Axel beat Chris Jericho. After the match, Ryback came out and nailed Jericho with the Meathook and Shellshocked.

* Damien Sandow comes out and talks about Cody Rhodes attacking him on RAW. He says they're still best friends and tag team partners, and calls Cody out. Sandow offers to forgive Cody and let him be the guardian of his Money in the Bank briefcase. Cody attacks Sandow but he escapes the ring and heads to the back.

* Rob Van Dam beat Darren Young.

* Vickie Guerrero has security escort Teddy Long out of the arena.

* Big Show will be returning to RAW on Monday it's announced.

* Randy Orton beat Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match. Orton won clean with a RKO. SmackDown ends with Orton celebrating.

Might give this a watch just for it being the MITB fallout show, but UGH at Vickie being GM for the god knows how many times.

YES!!! Vickie on Smackdown! The only time when that show doesn't get canned crowd heat is whem she is on the show that made her the heat magnet she is today. Good job imo, wheres that leave Booker?

The matches sounds pretty decent here.

I'm fine with Vickie being SD GM.

More to the question what will Teddy & Booker be doing now? Quite interesting but it works.

:fp: The World Heavyweight champion loses yet another big match clean. What a dumb decision. Not sure why WWE continues to make other titles seem so inferior.

I don't mind Vickie as Smackdown GM, can't see it lasting though as Steph and HHH will probably pick someone else to replace her. Wonder what this means for not just Booker T but Teddy Long as well. Teddy has been around for ages now in WWE but if he doesn't have an on screen role what does he do?

Like that Henry has managed to switch to face so easily and the crowd just eat it up. Should be good at Summerslam if they go for the six man tag against The Shield.

[Gimmick]

I'm not really a fan of the way Rhodes is attacking Sandow at every chance to be honest. Sandow really did nothing with how he won MITB. I'm happy the feud is happening, but not how they're going about it.

How many matches has Del Rio won since becoming champion? Like, one? Seriously, I know it has been for a very long time now, but that World championship is worthless.

The feud between Rhodes and Sandow seems to be a bit backwards especially if they are trying to present Rhodes as a face. As you said he did nothing wrong winning the match the way he did.

Sheamus was the last WHC to actually pick up some decent wins whilst champion. I fail to see why they continue to make the World title look weak, they need to get it through their heads that they should want it to be as close to equal footing as the WWE title as possible.

The WHC is like the MITB; its a jobber curse. Win either one and you just get jobbed out.

Mark Henry turning face is the best thing for him right now imo. If he stays heel then faces will just use him to look strong.
