Maybe as long as it comes back afterwards, it won’t be to bad and can be good for getting some heat. But if it’s permanent, that’s wack.

im guessing its just for heat as I saw the spoilers but yeah idk i feel like Moose himself has done this angle before so it's lame lol

Yeah this was gonna be my guess. He "retires" it for heat but really just renames it until someone beats him

They’re essentially just doing the Legends Championship thing where they simply rename it so Moose gets heat until a X guy saves the belt.

I mean... can you imagine? I mean, just imagine if that wasn't an angle and Ringside news is correct with it happening. It would be SO damn fitting for them to do that after this year.

Of course there were many good things in TNA, but just think about it. Just 12 months ago even the non-TNA fans were excited and giddy about them rebranding and going back to TNA. If that up there is real and not an angle, then they would've over this year:
- got rid of the guy that played the most important part of pulling TNA/Impact out of a years-long funk the company was stuck in
- went into a partnership with WWE, that, let's be honest, only benefits WWE in a long-term view
- brought the Hardys back into the company and gave them the Tag Titles
- brought back Tessa Blanchard (and probably give her a title as soon as possible)
- officially retired the X-Division Title

It’s 100% an angle and it’s pretty much the one I guess earlier. Allie’s gonna come back to save the x division.

The storyline progression honestly makes sense as well because I was actually saying during final resolution that it’s kind of weird seeing moose in the x division. So I believe his character is also going to basically say the same thing by renaming the belt and hopefully having a new design that looks really good in the interim.

Moose also said recently that he was planning on making his championship the most important in the company, so that would also be part of this.

It’s also funny how different people can view different things because I’m reading that post and honestly outside of firing Scott I think TNA has been right on the ball with everything they’re doing. I wasn’t the biggest hardy boys fan in the beginning either but they’re getting over again and the fans are loving it and honestly with them strictly doing the nostalgia 2000s run, I have no complaints.

I also think having WWE just last night once again mentioned TNA when they weren’t even doing a cross-promotional match just simply saying their name on NBC is a huge deal for TNA in getting them exposure.

I agree it would be stupid to get rid of the x division though. I’m fairly certain it’s just gonna be an angle. Even Eric Bischoff couldn’t kill the x division.
