Were your Spidey-senses tingling?

Last year, Sony Pictures Animation welcomed us into the Spider-Verse with the release of the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

As announced on their Twitter account, the sequel will be heading our way April 8, 2022!

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

The voice cast of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse includes Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, Liev Schreiber as Kingpin, Hailee Steinfeld as Spider-Gwen, Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir, John Mulaney as Spider-Ham, Kimiko Glenn as Peni Parker, Mahershala Ali as Aaron, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson, Luna Lauren Velez as Rio, Lily Tomlin (“Grace and Frankie”) as Aunt May, and Oscar Isaac as Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, with a screenplay by Phil Lord. The film is produced, in association with Marvel, by Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Christina Steinberg.

Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099 hell yeah! The first film was damn entertaining and one my favorite Animated films and I expect more of the Same in a few Years.

Sony pushing back Venom: Let There be Carnage back 2021 as well. No shock for sure, but I hope with all that pushing back means great Movies coming.
