Speculation On Regal Wrestling For NXT Soon

- There has been speculation going around NXT that General Manager William Regal may be wrestling some sort of retirement match at the NXT "Takeover: London" event on December 16th.

I'd be down for this. The ideal opponent would be Kevin Owens, 'cause they clearly can't stand each other, kayfabe-wise, of course.

I'll be going to the London event and seeing Regal wrestle again would be pretty awesome.

I'd love that. I've always been a huge fan of his. One of my favorite memories as a teenager was every Saturday I would get myself a meatball sub, go into my room, turn out the lights and sit on my bed while watching WCW Saturday Night. The reason I bring this up because it was late 1993 and early 1994... Regal (as Lord Steven Regal) was the WCW TV champ and defending on just about every episode. It didn't hurt that Flair became WCW World Champion and "Stunning" Steve Austin (my preferred version of Steve Austin) became WCW US Champion.

But the point being I always looked forward to Regal's title defense. The guy is an excellent wrestler and can put on a good match with just about anyone.
