In just a little over a month, The Rock will clash with John Cena at WrestleMania 28 in front of tens of thousands of raucous fans in Miami.

Following the extravaganza at Sun Life Stadium, though, many of us had wondered if "The Great One" would stick around or break his promise by leaving again, a point John Cena has made countless times.

However, when the WrestleMania 29 press conference rolled around on February 17, our fears were quickly alleviated when we witnessed "The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment" as one of a handful of individuals representing the WWE.

On that day, The Rock was mum about what capacity he would exactly appear in on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium. Even when prompted directly by a local reporter, the actor/wrestler refused to give a definitive answer.

But, according to The Pro Wrestling Torch (via 411Mania.com), we now know what to expect from "The Brahma Bull" next year in New Jersey:

After the Rock teased that he would appear at WrestleMania 29 in East Rutherford, New Jersey next year, sources within WWE have told PWTorch that Rock will be competing at the show.

Undoubtedly, this auspicious news corroborates The Rock's words about being "here (the WWE) to stay."

Given the fact he could make more on a set than in the ring, Dwayne Johnson, if he were a purely logical man, would not renew his WWE commitments.

By making the decision to continue his wrestling pursuits, it becomes obvious that The Rock truly does have a passion for the wrestling business.

Consequently, we the fans are better off for it.

As for who will wrestle "The People's Champion" at WrestleMania 29, let the speculation commence!

Will it be John Cena, again?

Randy Orton?

CM Punk?

The Undertaker?

Triple H?

A wild card?

EDIT: http://wweforums.net/showthread.php?tid=1832 someone already posted this. I'll just leave this though because I don't like the way that guy posts his threads.

Basically "we're going to copy another rumour that he's staying and pretend it's confirmed with us".

I hope Rock does stick around, he could make many stars.

*sigh*

Everyone knows nothing beats the live atmosphere of the WWE... nothing

The Rock could make billions of dollars doing movies and it wouldn't match the rush of WM

Working on a set is tedious and boring from what I'm told and WWE is most anything but (particularly when you're a part timer)

Rock has an ego and WWE will stroke that. He's no saint here, he simply getting his ear scratched by doing these WM events
