Following a story.
Tonight's Smackdown is in London England as the WWE continues their tour of Europe. Nine days away from Extreme Rules, and just three days away from the draft on Raw, tonight's lineup consisted of two title matches and a retirement party for Edge hosted by Alberto Del Rio.
Aside from the two title matches, we saw a Mania rematch with Rhodes & Mysterio with the master of the 619 getting a win. But the two of them battled around the ringside area which served as a preview for their newly announced Falls Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules. In the other match, we saw Drew McIntyre beat Chris Masters with the Future Shock DDT.

In one of the two title matches, Kane & The Big Show defeated Gabriel & Slater to become the new Tag Team Champs, after Show hit Slater with the chokeslam. The former champs blamed Ezekiel Jackson for the loss, but he put the blame back on them. Their leader Wade Barrett retained his Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston in a rematch. Jackson also was a factor in this match, accidentally hitting Barrett with a clothesline, but Barrett retained with a little help from a fistful of rope.

The night ended with Alberto Del Rio throwing a mock retirement party for Edge, presenting him with a grandfather clock, a pack of adult diapers, a walker, and a fake Lita. Edge came out to spoil the party, allowing a distracted Clay to be hit from behind by Christian with a ladder. He took out Del Rio as well before grabbing the Heavyweight Championship hung above ring as the show closed.
